The Ambassador Program of Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute gives students the opportunity to serve as trusted counselors and friends for other students. The positive self-image of an Ambassador can have a significant effect on other members of the student body and the surrounding community.

During spring semester each year, faculty and staff submit confidential names of curriculum students whom they wish to nominate for the Ambassador Program. Nominees must exhibit the following attributes of a quality leader:
A listing of nominees is then sent to Faculty Senate members, curriculum vice-presidents and their department chairpersons, and to the Vice-Presidents of Instruction and Student Services for comments and support or reservation. Nominees on the finalized listing are invited to a spring reception to determine acceptance into membership for the next scholastic year.
