Federal Work Study Program

Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute administers funds provided for childcare expenses through a partnership with the N.C. Child Care Assistance Grant Program. The program provides need-based financial assistance for parents enrolled in an Associate Degree or Diploma Program.

Applicants who qualify, choose their childcare provider.

The Federal College Work Study Program provides students with employment opportunities to help pay educational expenses. Work study positions are available on and off campus. Student employees working on campus earn $9 per hour. Student employees working in off campus positions earn $10 per hour.

Payments are made directly to providers for services.

Veterans Education Benefits

Eligibility for Veterans Education Benefits is determined by the Veterans Administration.

CCC&TI offers multiple academic and need-based scholarships through CCC&TI’s Foundation Office and the College Foundation of North Carolina. Students are notified of scholarship opportunities via official student email, social media, and website advertisements as they become available throughout the academic year.

Many of the scholarship opportunities are offered through CFNC but coordinated by the Financial Aid Office.
